According to the production and processing methods can be divided into the following categories:.
1. Hot-dip galvanized steel plate: Immerse the steel plate in molten zinc, and attach a layer of zinc on the surface of the steel plate. At present, continuous galvanizing process is mainly used in the production, which is to continuously dip the rolled steel plate into the galvanizing tank to melt zinc to make galvanized steel plate.
2. Alloy galvanized steel plate: This steel plate is also made by hot dip plating method, but it is heated to about 500°C immediately after coming out of the tank to form a zinc-iron alloy film. The galvanized sheet has good paint adhesion and weldability.
3. Galvanized steel plate: Galvanized steel plate produced by electroplating has good processing properties. However, the coating is thinner and its corrosion resistance is not as good as that of hot-galvanized sheet.
4. Single-sided and double-sided differential galvanized steel plate: single-sided galvanized steel plate refers to only one side of the galvanized product. It has better adaptability than double-sided galvanized sheet in welding, coating, anti-rust treatment, processing and so on. In order to overcome the shortcomings of uncoated zinc on one side of the galvanized sheet, another galvanized sheet coated with a thin layer of zinc on the other side has appeared, that is, double-sided differential galvanized sheet.
5. Alloy, composite galvanized steel plate. It is made of zinc and other metals such as aluminum, lead, zinc, etc., alloys and even composite plated steel plates. These steel plates not only have excellent anti-rust properties, but also have good coating properties.
In addition to the above five types, there are color galvanized steel plate, printing galvanized steel plate, PVC laminated galvanized steel plate and so on. But the most commonly used is hot galvanized sheet.
Hot-dip galvanized coils are produced by passing a pickling and rolled all-hard steel plate through a zinc pan and coating its surface with a zinc film. Due to the characteristics of zinc, it has excellent corrosion resistance, paint and processability. Under normal circumstances, the process and specifications of hot-dip galvanized steel sheet and galvanized steel coil are basically the same.
